Dead Letter Office :: is anybody out there?
There is a place where letters go to die. A world of unfulfilled potential where messages do not reach those for whom they were intended. Join PL115 as we explore the dreams, hopes and wishes people send out into the universe in the fervent hope of a response.
In our newest project, Dead Letter Office, Performance Lab 115 teams up with Meiyin Wang of theatrewagon to investigate the genesis of hope and the tenuous nature of human connection through the metaphor of the Dead Letter. Using found material from letters (both personal and historical), poetry, fiction and science, Performance Lab 115 will create a matrixed narrative to explore a liminal space where hope lies in wait.
